Myriam is an Early Childhood Educator with the Early Years Centre. She is very passionate about working with young children, and feels it is the best job in the world. She works collaboratively with parents to form better humans and help them play a more active role in their communities and society.
Myriam holds a B.A. from the Universidad Veracruzana, Veracruz, Mexico. She also hold an Early Childhood Educator diploma and a Special needs Resource Teacher Certificate, with Honours.
As a registered ECE, with over eight years of experience in Canada and 6 years of teaching in Mexico, she has acquired tremendous skills and teaching techniques to reach every learner, including children with special needs. She believes every child has the right to reach his/her fullest potential regardless his/her abilities, so she constantly strives to deliver high quality inclusive programs.
Myriam is proud to be part of the Jane/Finch Centre since 2010. Working with families and their children has motivated her to perform her best and to have a stronger commitment to advocacy and social justice in the Jane/Finch community.
