Rahma is a Settlement Worker and provides solution-focused counselling to newcomer individuals and their families with a focus on young women. She has been working with the Jane Finch Community and Family Centre since 2004, and has been with The Spot since its inception.
Rahma completed an Honours B.A. in International Development Studies and Sociology, as well as a Master’s in Education. Her academic writing examines race, identity development and mental health in urban environments.
