We’re Hiring a a Summer Intern for our Community Wellbeing Program!

The Community Wellbeing Program Intern is responsible for the development of resources addressing mental health stigma within Jane and Finch communities, particularly among adults and older adults. Using appropriate engagement approaches, the successful candidate will also work closely with the program’s Community Wellbeing Workers in co-facilitating regular workshops to promote mental health literacy and access among Jane/Finch residents across the lifespan.

This role is 30 hours per week for 14 weeks. $15 per hour.

This position has been funded through the Canada Summer Jobs program. To be eligible, candidates must also:
• Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment.
• Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to who refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment.
• Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada .
• The youth must be 15 years of age at the beginning of the employment period. The youth may be more than 30 years of age at the end of the employment period as long as the youth was 30 at the beginning of the employment period.
